Feeding System
The raw materials (e.g. wood logs, branches, wood chips) are fed into the inlet hopper.
The machine feeding can be via a conveyor belt.
Cutting & Crushing System
Inside the crushing chamber, high-speed rotating blades, hammers, or knives chop the wood material.
These blades are mounted on a rotor that spins at high speed.
The wood is crushed and shredded into smaller and smaller pieces as it gets hit repeatedly.
VFD drum chipper feeding chain ( upper steel material + bottom nylon material make the lifetime of chain longer )
According to the different thickness of the raw material to be cut, the upper feeding roller assembly can be raised and lowered within a certain range with the help of a hydraulic system.
The discharge port is equipped with a durable alloy steel screen, and the qualified pieces of cutting material fall through the screen holes and will be discharged from the bottom through the discharging belt conveyor, and the material which is too large will be cut in the machine.
The use of a large diameter cutter roller effectively increases the shearing force of the equipment on the material, 4 pieces of flying blades are installed on the blade roller, and the flying blade are fixed to the blade roller by pressure blocks with specially manufactured flying blade bolts.
